The building houses a store, a parking lot, a hotel and other commercial buildings.
The property is being sold to an anonymous buyer for a reported $250 billion, according to the New Jersey DEA.
It’s the biggest commercial property in the state of New Jersey.
The state said the PineBluffs will become the new home for the U.S. Department of Commerce, which will build a massive new commercial center on the site.
The Department of Justice has agreed to take over management of the project, according the DEA, which said the deal is expected to be finalized in the second half of 2019.
The announcement comes just two days after the Pinebluffs announced that it would be closing its current store, the PineMan, to create a new, state-of-the-art store.
The new PineMan will be located in the former PineBluffer building on the New York side of the river.
The new store will include a new outdoor market, restaurant, a new store entrance, a state-wide parking garage and a brand-new state-certified greenhouse.
