U.S. company says it’s making commercial tires for commercial vehicles
BusinessWeek has a story on a U.K.-based company that says it is making commercial, all-terrain tires for the commercial market.
It says the company is working with the United States to develop the tires, which will be manufactured by the company’s subsidiary Nurtec, and will be sold in the U.L.N.T.A. The U.N.-affiliated tire company, which is owned by Nurtec, is also developing the tire’s exterior, according to the report.
The company says Nurtec will make tires in the United Kingdom and in Mexico.
The tires are expected to be available in 2019, and the U-K.
government said it expects them to be exported.
Nurtec was founded in the 1970s and currently has about 30 employees in the UK, the company said in a statement.
