When Nike’s commercial for the Nike AirMax 2020 comes out, it’ll be the most expensive basketball shoe ever produced
The Nike Air Max 2020 is expected to sell for about $1,000.
But that’s just the start of the retail price hike that will kick in when the shoe launches in 2019.
A Nike spokesperson confirmed that the shoe will be priced at $1.19, which is the price tag of the Nike+ Flyknit Nike AirMAX 2020.
This means the shoe can only be purchased at Nike stores or Nike+ online shops, which means that Nike+ users will have to pony up for a pair.
The shoes will come with a $100 Nike+ credit to use towards travel or merchandise purchases.
That means users will be paying $100 to be able to pay for a sneaker that doesn’t require them to use a credit card.
The Nike+ Air Max 2019 will also be priced higher than the Nike Flyknit version of the shoe, which will set you back $150.
For the record, Nike+ memberships start at $500.
