The ad follows on from a recent campaign featuring footage from a series that premiered in 2014.
The ABC said the ad would highlight the “huge impact” of Four Cornas success, highlighting the “unpredictable, unpredictable” rise of its popularity in Australia.
“Four Cornal has grown from an idea that was hatched in the studio into a series of critically acclaimed shows, many of which are now in syndication across Australia,” the ad reads.
“That growth and success is why we want to honour the show with an Australian-made ad on ABC Television.”
The ad was commissioned by Four Cornalis commercial agency, BFI, and will air during Monday’s episode of Fourcornalls.
It will also air on the official ABC News channel, as well on the website and the ABC app.
The series is a reboot of the original Four Cornies, which ran from 2002 to 2004.
The show starred the likes of Kevin O’Brien, James Corden and David Tennant, but has also featured stars such as Simon Pegg, Jessica McEvoy and Stephen Fry.
The reboot has been described as a return to form for the show, which was also seen as a “giant” hit in the U.S.
The ads will run in the same week that Australia’s national anthem is played.
It will also be aired in Australia’s National Broadbands Month, which will coincide with Four Cornalt’s 60th birthday on March 11.
